Hi

probably I discovered hot water , but I wanted solve problem of hum on my Beogram 900 and I have ...... change trasfo

Yesterday evening I made some test connecting an external trasfo (27V on secondary) and a new rectifier (4 diodes nothing exotic) hum go away and sounds became free of any noise.

Next steps will be:

first of all check if it's possible put a new trasfo in same place of original and after give a DC supply for lights of dial scale.

Hello to all

first update: I've put a new trasfo in same place of original but hum remain the same so I've put it outside into a metal box using a shielded cable and hum finally disappear

Now I have to solve a problem of AC or DC supply for lights of dial scale

Next days I'll post some pics.
