Hi all,
First time poster and B&O owner here, so forgive my ignorance.
I just picked up a BeoVision MX7000 TYPE 78/85 SW 2.0 for use as a gaming monitor. The issues I'm having is that none of the menus that appear in the booklet actually appear on screen.
When I press the Menu button (TV selected) all I see is program list and setup. Entering the setup menu there is just timer sound, power link, AV1, AV2 and S-VHS options. According tot he manual there should be many more settings, picture, sound etc.
Secondly, I need to be able to adjust geometry settings via the service menu, which doesn't work with menu 1 1. Menu 0 0 does work, but only shows the software version.
I'd be very grateful if someone could clear this up for me. I can provide pictures if required. Thanks so much.
There were different Versions.
Your TV is not the latest one made of the BV MX Range. Therefore menu structure etc. is different, you cannot enter the Service menu via the remote, you Need to shortcurcuit the Service menu plug P700 on PCB14 briely....

Thanks for the reply Kallasr, I'm planning to install a momentary push button switch on the casing to enable me to enter the service menu whenever needed. Thanks for the heads up.
As for the setup menus, I'm surprised that such high end equipment came with a user manual (I have the original one sold with the unit) that is nothing like the actual real life device. The BE04 remote is really nice, but a bit confusing.
I bet it was not the Manual intended to be sold with the TV...
What does it say on the back: MX7000 BEO4 or MX7000 IMP TXT or similar?
Sorry for the late reply, it says MX7000 BEO4
