About to upgrade a bv 7-40 mk III with a bv 11-46 with four beolab-2 and one beolab-11 as a surround sound system. also have a beoplay V1 with a couple of beolab 4000s fixed to the shelf above the tv. Theres a beoplay A8 too.
Both tv's have Apple TV attached.
I seem to have a huge variety of ways of playing my music which is on iTunes and movies from my computer or via streaming.
I can stream to the tv from my mac or apple device, or I can use the Apple TV to play straight from the cloud or I can use home media via wireless connection or a USB device.
My question is......Is there going to be any difference in sound quality dependent on which way I choose to play my music? if I want to watch video is there any difference in picture quality which depends on the source?
Thanks for your help

I guess - with the same media - you won't have much difference on either system.
Especially not in that 'bassy setup'
Please do remember, that you will have to have a DLNA server running on your Mac in order to use your local media via 'home media' on the BV11. The usb is good for occational connection - e.g. if a friend drops by with some interesting movies on a usb-key - but not for everyday use.
I would say: test it - and use the way which is more convenient to you.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
oops that was a typo
Beolab 3 not Beolab 2; that would be total madness
