Please help me find difference between "AV9000", "AV9000 Beo4" and "AV9000 IT".

I have only standard "AV9000" and it can't be turned with Beo4 by LIST->STAND.

I should use LIST->V.SETUP->GO->LIST(to show "PICTURE" on display).

Is it so that "AV9000 Beo4" could be turned with Beo4 by LIST->STAND?

And what about the latest "AV9000 IT"? What kind of improve were realised in it?

Thanks in advance!

My AV9000 is called IMP is one of the last ones that were made.

I guess to follow the new Beo4 the AV9000 got adapted to follow it but you can use the Beolink  1000. The AV9000 setup in the Beo4 does work for the model.

Other than that when doing any linking to any non ML B&O products instead of the special done 1610 converter for AV9000 you can use the 1611 which is the standard converter for most Beovisions.

The first AV9000 had 2 way and used the Beolink 5000/Beolink 7000 so the last ones of the series were upgraded  acordently to the Beovisions of the time. That is my take on it.

Thanks, Friedmett!

I've just got "AV 9000 Beo4" modification. Fine, it can be turned by the both ways:

1) smart: LIST->STAND;

2) irrational: LIST->V.SETUP->GO->LIST(to show "PICTURE" on display).

P.S.: Are latest modifications (Beo4, IT, IMP) still 2 way? I wold like to buy BeoLink 5000 or 7000 for timer first of all.

No the 2 way options got dropped by B&O at the time Beo4 came out in the mid '90s.
