Beomaster 4500. No sound out of power link sockets

connecting to vandersteens. Was clients fathers. Bought 8 pin connectors. Soldered as per diagram that I have. Pin 1 left hot. Pin 3 left ground. Pin 4 right hot, pin 5 right ground. Ground on negative side of speaker. Hot on positive. Nothing. Help!!!!

Are you trying to connect the power link outputs to normal passive speakers? Those outputs are line level not speaker level.

The 4500 has normal 2 pin Din speaker outputs too to drive passive speakers.

hi

when you press mute buton do you listen the relay that do klic klic? if not maybe you have something inside the socket head phone or maybe this socket are defect. if you don t use it you can remove the connector inside the main board and the sound will be ok
