Saturday I went to the store to view some projectors. I was excited in front of the Canton Reference 7.2 speakers white.   Beautiful and wonderful sound.

Now I wonder ... how do I connect these speakers, front, instead of BeoLab 8000? Rear I will use the BL4000.

Probably will connect the speakers Canton, to BV7-32, which will connect the projector and bluray.

The canton speakers are not active, so you can't connect them directly to the beovision. You would need an amplifier in between. The beolink passive might work but it is possibly to weak for them and you would need to hide it somewhere since it is very bulky - as is the canton speakers. They would look strange together with a beovision 7, perhaps less distracting if you have a few meters between the speakers and the tv. The design is completely different.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

As Michael wrote, you will need an amplifier for driving them with the BV.

Theoretically that is no problem - with the right cables/adapters/trigger...

But beware of - how a passive loudspeaker sounds is basically dependent on the amp, which drives it.

Different amps will give you different experiences - from excelent to 'that is not what I heard in the store'.

It can be a tough job to find the right match - the BL Passive as amp surely won't do the job.

This is why B&O for decades has been making speakers with dedicated amps (and DSP's).

If you really like the sound of those speakers, you could make a 'small' setup somewhere else in the house with a matching amp and your main sources.

You should go for BeoLabs in a B&O setup - imo.

Alternatively go for active speakers from another brand.

Second alternative - you could try to get hold on one (or two) of the ICEPower based amps, that can be found (they are rather rare).

Some B&O'ers have made nice setups with them driving the Penta Vox - so why not for a Canton speaker!

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Which amplifier, high quality, should I put to manage Canton?

And how do I connect it?

I am sure that other users have TV B&O and speakers not B & O. How did you do?

For these speakers you need a serious 2-way power amplifier. Just 2 line-inputs for left and right, and no volume control. Your BV7 will act as a pre-amplifier. Preferable an amplifier with a trigger input to wake up the amp, and put the the amp in standby. For example the Emotiva XPA-2.

But I would explain your situation at the store where you want to buy these speakers and let them advice or let you test different amps for a good match.
