I am adding a Beosystem 4 to the mix, replacing bv4-65 and sys3. Would like to add an 85 inch or larger panel.

I've considered a projector but it's in a basement and I'm worried about getting through walls, etc.

Anyone using a 3d party panel with system that could make a recommendation?

I'm using a Samsung screen. One nice feature is that you can disable the start-up Samsung logo. However, there is a brief resolution notification that you can't turn off. It's these little details that are good to keep in mind to keep a clean electronic curtain effect.

And it is reminding you that you don't use a B&O display Big Smile

By the way - do you know which (other) displays are supported?

Supposedly with a system4 practically anything will be supported, or Henrik will  capture the code if you send the remote, I'm told.

I have wrestled and wrangled with this for several weeks but it seems like the projector will give me a much better image and I can create some drama with curtains, shades, etc.  I'm going projector for my project. . .wish me luck!

Means: you would not recommend using a non-B&O display/tv (with the BSys4)???

Bear in mind when choosing a 3rd party screen with BS3 you can only have 60hz output. I think this isn't the case with BS4 but can anyone confirm it?
