Beolab 7-4 with motorized stand

I have a BV 7-40 that comes with a motorized floor stand and Beolab7-4. Recently the TV takes a long time to start up, and we are thinking of changing the TV to a non-B&O TV. Question:

- is there a way to mount a non-B&O TV onto the motorized stand and continue to use the Beolab 7-4? We don't really need the range of motorized movement for the stand.

- if not, is there a way to pair a new TV with the Beolab 7-4?

Look at the website of steve (soundsheavenly) you will find a cable for this purpose. He provides me one for a bl7.2.

You can mount another tv on the stand, it shouldn't be too complicated to build a back plate even in wood. It depends of the weight of the tv.

The best is to use a preamp in order to use the bl7.4 has center speaker.

If you don't use a preamp, then you will have the sound of your tv in mono only.

Use a bl7.2 instead and you will have a stereo speaker.

Look at the oppo 103d, you have a bluray player built in and 5.1 preout analogic output.

It will treat every hdmi input you will plug into (video and audio).
