Beomaster 5 doesn't run Windows XP, it runs Windows XP Embedded which is a different product. Notably, it doesn't include Windows Update, and the idea is that the platform will remain stable and the product vendor will choose what updates to deploy (to avoid the product from stopping to work unexpectedly due to some update, among other things).

Having said that - no, I don't know if B&O actually has pushed SP3 to those Beomasters.

Hi olvisab,
in the BM5 B&O use/d the 'embedded' version, which is still supported (untill jan 2016).

Hi,
you can try to install SP3 by yourself like shown by BeoIce in his great thread here.I did it myself on my BeoMedia1 and it works flawlessly if you proceed like shown there.
After applying XP SP3 you can try to install iTunes If all gets messed up just restore your BeoMaster 5 as you did before and everything is fine except you can't use it for restore of your iPhone.

2 quick questions :
Is it possible to increase the RAM on the BM5 ? If yes, do you think it can be a good trick ?
