I have tried using the ConfigTool on a Netbook (Asus Eee PC) with Windows 7 32, but once the program loaded, the screen doesn't show the tool bar, while the program seems to work well (no error message and the update is done correctly and the Beo5/6 drivers OK).
This is the first time I have this problem. I have used the ConfigTool extensively on several different OS (XP, Vista 32 and Windows 7) and computers.
I've tried changing the displaying parameters, but didn't help, the tool bar never shows up.
Anyone had similar problem?
Did you try to set the display text size to 100% instead of the default value auf 125%.
The tool only works correct with 100%
hfat
Checked the text size, which is 100%, but the problem remains.
Any other idea?
Could you please post a screen shot. I'll try to reproduce on my PC
It seems to me that the screen resolution is the problem: the minimum the tool works correct is: 1024x768
I tried different resolution, but it didn't help. It's really weird because the software seems working (it updating the database each time I connect), but the screen doesn't show the toolbar!
Real mystery to me, especially since it works on my other PCs (under XP, Vista 32 and Windows 7 on desktop).
Hi,
I experimented with a lots of different settings, but wasn't able to reproduce the situation on my pc. It's strange because it seems that only the hight of the window is wrong. The widht is OK. Do you use version 5.11 of the tool?
Yes, I use the latest version of the Config Tool.
I just was able to reproduce the problem. It is caused by the screen resolution, where the widh is OK and the hight is to small (my example 1200 x 650).
What is the resolution, you use?
Great
