thanks for the information - looks like a great TV to look after :-D
I wanted to buy a slightly bigger tv than my current one, and I came across the 7-55, as the image is absolutely stunning, and the turning floor stand, the way everything moves so elegantly, the beautiful design, etc
So : I ordered a 7-55 MK2, with Beolab 7.6 on a high floor stand. It will connect to my BL 8000's, BL 2 & Beocenter 9300 and I'm pretty sure I will love it :P
I'm quite sure the 7-55 does not compare to current day QLEDs or OLEDs.
Moreover, the 7-55 is a beast compared to nowadays 55" sets sizes. The set is huge due to its large bezels. (e.g. My old 42" LG LCD is the same size as my new 55" QLED.)
As good as they were in their time, technology has moved on since.

Just my 2 cents.
can not compare to newer sets. However some months ago I purchased one as upgrade for my 40“ Loewe Individual. If you have the space, I would go for it- it‘s huge. Have low stand though- Other stand seems for me too high!
