This morning I bought a "silk" Beoremote. And yes, it works with my BV11-46!
'it works with the 11-46'.
Does that include the three MyButtons?
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Have you set the Beoremote in Beo 4 mode?
According to the user guide, in that mode, the 3 MyButtons can be set to start 3 customisable sources (but not set the speaker/stand).
The Info and Guide buttons should however remain inactive in Beo 4 emulation mode.

So - it does not work like with the Avant!
Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2, BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century, BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i, BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40, BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)
Yes, you must set the BV11 to beoremote one. And the three buttons can be assigned as you wish, You don't need to set the beoremote it self to any other mode than the default out of the box. If you wish to use the remote for older products, then see the userguide.
I wrote above:

This is true!
The spectacular and great thing about the MyButtons is, that you - with one push - can store exactly the settings/source etc, you want/need to one of them.
If I were only able to (manually) assign three different sources to those three button, I'd fix three small labels to attach to the buttons with the source name printed - or stick to the good old Beo4 (which has source names on the buttons by default).
To use the Remote One with a BV11/V1 like with the Avant would presume a software update of these tv's!

'I believe....'
Can anyone confirm this?

Looking forward to the answer!
Yes, I´ll check as soon as I can. I have a 90km way back. BVA/BV11/V1 all share the exact same software update number so I think they all share the same features for the 'MyButtons'. Why would they not work when they have support for the BeoRemote One?Anyway I will make sure to test it so you know 100%.
Michael,
I think the confusion comes from the fact that people on this forum have for long time speculated that this SW update would be available one day, and that it apparently happened, and no one talked about it!
I would be good to check if the Info and Guide buttons have an effect when using a PUC controlled set top box.
I´ll check when I can. Decided to stay here so I can go to the cinemas tonight and see Interstellar. (More science after been watching the Orion mission today.)
Take your time - and enjoy.
I will be away most of the day tomorrow.
Finally – and by most information early.
The "official" (or should I say "mass") release date is still Feb/Mar 2015...
I chose the Silk version. Unboxing shortly, I'm still teasing myself fondling the box
Kind of like a little bit of early Christmas. Very happy about this!

Now I have had a chance to try and YES it works. I tried storing MyButtons-profiles on my bedroom V1 (just holding down one of them for a second or so) and that works too. Everything seems to work as usual. I also took the time to connect my Avant55 & V1 together via the integration function and it works really good. Now I have Net radio (WEBRADIO) on my V1 through the Avant. It all works over the ethernet/network connection. In the source list on my V1 I now have nine sources local + 14 linked sources.

Fantastic good news
BeoNut since '75
Hello Michael,
thanks for testing!
I stand corrected
But I am very happy, that I - and others - have learned a thing or two from that
And thanks for your desription of how the two BV's work together - far too few people reaiise how good NL is!

No problem :). They work good but it is only audio that is transmitted unfortunately. I suppose it would be possible to send the picture also albeit reduced in quality.
Michael: suppose it would be possible to send the picture also albeit reduced in quality.
NL only supports audio.
Video can be distributed through HDMI, and is therefore reserved for external sources (set top boxes, etc..).
Source: HomeMedia on the BV11-55 and plays on the BV11-46 in the living
(Just an example)

It is the album CSNY1974 playing - music, no video!
format BR Audio with no video just some pictures
I ripped it to 192 kHz 24 bit FLAC though
NL does not support distribution of video for the moment
Neither did ML!
NL could - but there are so many restrictions on distrbuting video, that it probably would not be worth the go. To much video, that - for this or that reason - is not allowed to be distributed.
The 'work-around' is HDMI/HDMI matrix.
But - do we really need video through NL - most video sources are local anyway. And some are available through DLNA (or AirPlay) streaming.

Would be fun to see a picture, that shows all those sources in your Source List on the tv(s) - if possible?
The BeoRemote One Silk version is absolutely beautiful.
The finish is immaculately smooth to the touch and doesn't get fingerprints or smudges. I'm really glad I didn't get the "natural aluminum" version, which seems to show more signs of use as I've seen at dealers'. The Silk version is, in my opinion, what BeoRemote One should have been from the start.
After a little practice, it's possible to use the basic functions of the remote without looking at it. The buttons have a shape to them, and at least my fingers are sensitive enough to distinguish buttons when gliding my thumb on them.
The possibility to easily rename devices, sources and functions is a big plus, especially coming from Beo5. Controlling BV11 and connected devices (and BeoPlay A8) is a joy – I couldn't be happier as far as remotes go!
I saw both remote when visiting my B&O dealer, I still prefer the polished version. Sure the silk one will not mark fingerprints, but the feeling is very "cold" and lacks sensuality and warmth you get when you touch the polished one. Just a question of personal taste I suppose.

The feel of the Silk version reminded me of the "cold" feel of Beo4, which I had for years before Beo5 – probably also one of the reasons why I prefer the Silk, besides the Silk version being fingerprint resistant.
On the other hand, the look of the polished version would have been more in line with the polished frame of BeoVision 11 and the covers of BeoLab 11...
You're right: it's a matter of taste. So it's good that there is choice
I love the BeoRemote One too - i don't have the satin version just the normal version. I have found that it doesn't attract finger prints - maybe cos that I have not used it that much lol. The satin / silk version looks great. Thanks for posting the pictures. I also find that renaming devices is also a good feature.
