An evening enjoying Harry BellaFonte on my BC1200

Makes wonder about the mysterious 2 black frubber eet on the wooden chassi.

Why are they there ?
Can really this machine stand up

?

Yes, it can stand up.
If you rotate the two 5-6cm long plastic feet at the underside, near the front, they will act as the two rear feet when upright.
Then fit the two rubber reel holders to the hubs to prevent the tape reels from falling off.

A wallbracket was also available, how cool is that!

You can see the feet stick out in this photo (the right side foot is not completely rotated):

This pic from Beoworld Products, shows it even more clear, so yes I think it can be placed vertical

"Then fit the two rubber reel holders to the hubs to prevent the tape reels from falling off."

Same standing principal as the BC1600 which is how I've got mine.

They are special for this machine (Beocord 1200/1600). I dont know if you can find some from other tapedecks (other brands) that will fit. Maybe/maybe not.

It is only this site where I have seen RtR decks NOT in a vertical position.
