Hi,

I'd like to know how the power adapters are connected to the pyramids?

Are they attached or will I be able to disconnect them?

The reason I am asking this is because I may be able to buy a UK version, but would like to use them in continental Europe by changing the power adapters.

Ours is a sealed unit. That is cable is imbedded into the pyramid and at the end imbedded into a two prong / \ Australian plug.

Perhaps wait for EU responses . . . . .

Assuming it is not a full base station and basically just the charger - the plug on the end should just twist off.

We got our pyramid charger from the UK and replaced it with the Australian version.

Works fine.

The power cable is soldered inside the pyramid as you can see in this photo:

but at the other end of the cable (where it enters the PSU) it is actually a connector, so theoretically you should be able to buy just the PSU that plugs into the socket. You have to partially disassemble the PSU to connect the plug, however - not easy.

It's probably easier just to get on German eBay and find a new complete pyramid/PSU - I have bought a few there since moving from UK to Denmark and then Germany!

The newer (non-pyramid) chargers do have a power supply that disconnects at the base of the charger.
