Hi Eric,
I think you should leave the Encore and BeoVoxes attached to the BM-7000 as they are right now. You will need a New BeoLink Converter to connect the BV-7 and the BM-7000, and then move the BeoLabs over to the BV-7. The only real issue may be that your Encore is using the input that the Converter wants, so some switching around may be required. In addition in this set-up I don't think you'll be able to get TV sound in the Kitchen. Are you using an MCL kit, or are they just hooked to Speaker 2?

We kid because we love.
Why not assign the Encore to A.TAPE and CD? Connect the Powerlink output to both (A.TAPE1 - CD) inputs of your BM7000.
Now you can activate all devices with one button - Encore (control)- BM7000 (activating the input) - BV7 (activating in audiomode and powering up the Beolabs)
I`d also recommend to use an MCL kit for the kitchen. This will give you a separate volume control (using the BM7000 amp) and also sound from TV (and all connected video sources) if you set the MCL kit to L.OPT 2.
Connect the BL converter with a 7pin AUDIO AUX LINK cable and a Powerlink cable to the BM7000. It needs the start up signal when controlled via the BV7.
Set the options to V.OPT 2, A.OPT 0 and BS5 A.OPT 1 - MCL (if present) L.OPT 2.
Hope this helps.

What type of cable are you using to connect the 8 pin powerlink on the Encore to the 7 pin TAPE1 input on the BM7000?

Eric,
why not reconfigure your system as described above?
You can split the Powerlink signal to two inputs (CD - A.MEM). Ths way, you don`t have to press three buttons to activate your Encore.

You will find all information you need on the Beotech site - wiring diagrams.
You need two 5 pin DIN plugs and a two-wire (stereo) cable.
PIN 2 is GND, PIN 3 left audio, PIN 5 right audio.
Hope this helps
