Giraffe:it is by using the other menus like e.g. Artist.
And you are sure that the Artists or Playlist you are seeing are from the Twonky server? Not from Deezer?
I would try a power off of the SoundHeart, a hard reset of the JukeBox and a power on to see if it makes the difference

Giraffe:- resetting the library (surprisingly comes back after a few seconds with a check mark).
This intrigues me, it looks as there is not a good 'handshake' between Twonky server and the Moment. (Supposing there is a reasonably stocked music library on the NAS)
If so it could be the server configuration, network conflict, or whatever...

Hi,
I just checked my software version of the Beosound Moment with the Beotool.
Beosound Moment Jukebox: 1.7.5.1155
Beosound Moment Soundheart: 1.7.399.223963144
Is this version up to date? I wonder, because the version numbers are different.
Greetings,
Mirco

thanks for the fast answer...
Giraffe:Yes, it says "harvest done" but the content is not accessible thorough the inner ring. However, it is by using the other menus like e.g. Artist.
Exactly the same for me, NAS content is not available on Moodwheel but available in the Artists list.
Sure it is not coming from Deezer, since I have a very limited Deezer collection.
Kind regards,
Yann.

Giraffe:I am now clueless since you other guys are reporting that it works again.
What is strange is that (1) I think most of us had issue with Deezer not DLNA source, for me the inner ring was the only one working (2) without Deezer configured you don't have the DLNA content in your inner ring which in this case of configuration should be the only one active .....
Did you hard reset your JukeBox? not sure I have seen an answer to that
Giraffe:Yes, I also can confirm that I have my NAS content under Artists but no content at all accessible through the inner moodwheel ring. The other rings do play content, though. To conclude: NAS/Twonky is accessible Deezer is accessible The Moment's other user interfaces give me access to both The beo tool app gives me green light on all categories However, the inner ring is completely empty The I am now clueless since you other guys are reporting that it works again. Exactly the same for me.
I did a hard reset of the jukebox (paperclip in the little hoe on the top), did a reset of my Library but it did not help.
My NAS is a QNAP TS-251 running Twonky 8.2.1
Twonky "sees" the Moment.
Maybe you could approach the problem from another angle (a complete fresh start from server & Moment). From reading the above, it seems that after several attempts the inner ring still gives an error.
Only one thing is not clear for me between the inner ring and artist view, the ring is not working but you see and are able to play every album of your NAS activating it in the album/artist window. And you are sure its not an album from Deezer. Correct?
Try the following: Power off completely the Moment. Next login to your NAS page, open Twonky server app and give it another name in the Twonky system settings. Per example: if its ServerMusic name it BeoWorldMusic. Best would be to restart the Nas/server after giving this new name, and rebuild your library (you can do that on the Twonky server's maintenance tab page).
Power on the Moment and do an immediate factory reset from within the menu. After Hub and Jukebox are connected to the network and your ready to fill in the necessary questions, skip to fill in your credentials on TuneIn and Deezer (you can do that on a latter base) but point the Moment to the new server name in the DLNA window. Let us know if your albums are now added and if the ring now works after a while (all this without TuneIn or Deezer credentials).
PS.: After the latest update, I experience a longer wait on the rings before actually getting colored, even though the device about menu shows the ok or done marker.
Hello, I was very happy to read that the tqwo outer rings where working again. After powering up the Moment fresh, on my Moment the two outer rings where working again with Deezer content. Happy? Not! The inner ring does not working again. That was the only ring that was working with music from my NAS when the Deezer problem occured. I don't use Twonky, but Media server from Synology. Worked flawless for a long time on the inner ring. Now Deezer is back on trach in the outer and middle ring, the inner ring is empty. Yes, I cAn find artists from my NAS and it plays also. But only issue is the moodwheel. I am sure that the Moment is connected with my NAS. Ofcourse some will say that I have to install Twonky, but I first want to solve this, because I think installing Twonky is not the solution.
In the beginning very happy with Moment (after BS5). Now dissapointed. My Sonos connected to Line In from my BL vonverter gives me much more fun. Always working.....
Hi athos,
If you find Artists and Albums from your Synology NAS, it looks the DLNA server is delivering content as it should. Have you been trying to rebuild your music database from within the Moment's menu button?
Yes, did a reset of the system twice.

smile and enjoy the moment
Even more concerning than just being the worst seller is the horrible bugs that are still in the product after 2 years. The price is also the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. They need to kill the product now.

Even IF the damn thing worked PERFECTLY the price makes it the worst decision ever.
For the cost of 1 moment you can literally have these items all to do the same thing plus 1000x more.
A NAS to hold all your music.
about 8 iPads to put in every room of the house.
OR
1 buggy and dated Moment.

I´ve been with the Moment since the start (even was at the press launch in Las Vegas). I agree its been a bumpy ride and I have been extremely patient, but Moment serves me well. It does what I want it to do, e.g:
- Gather all music sources I need in one spot
- Makes it easy to play music (sure, user interface can always be improved and it probably will be tweaked over time)
- Looks cool (the wood side is still a conversation piece)
- Part of a multiroom experience
I´m not really concerned with the price. Its up to everyone to buy or not buy. That you can buy different stuff cheeper, that does the same thing, is not really relevant, in my mind. You can say that with most luxury goods.
@ Chris +1
But i found not really an other device, which does the same. You always need a pad or smartphone to control it. I control my moment most of the time with my bei remote and at the moment itself. That was the more or less the main reason, why i bought it. Otherwise the essence would have been the right device.

That is exactly the main point - it integrates with the B&O network (NL and even ML using the converter)!
No 'NAS/10 iPad solution' can do the same.
But - on the other hand, maybe the supporters of the 'NAS/10 iPad solution' aren't interested in that at all?

Agree with you. Me neither. Not in a convenient (and nice looking way).

mbolo01:One day hopefully the software side of it will be fixed, but in the mean time it does the job when MoodWheel or PatternPlay are not the only feature you want to use
We are facing challenges with strength, determination and confidence in the product... however
I'm perfectly happy with the Moment, if it functions as promised and it already has done. But it is a shame some updates are solving unknown bugs to create new one's which are very well noticeable.
On the other hand, I do not wish to fill my house with a load of iPad's and losing the comfort of easy operation B&O brings us.

You don't need a load of iPads. You can buy ONE and it still will do everything the moment does. Everything plus thousands more.

The moment and the BeoMusic software can hardly be considered easy to use. There are far better and easier to use user interfaces out there.
As i said above: if you wanna use your smartphone and/or a pad, you can choose between 100s of devices. Every manufacturer has a product in it's range (even B&O with the essence).
The moment is just of interest, if you wanna separate your digital music from other electronical devices (with the possibility to use them either). As a moment user it is not of interest, if an iPad can do much more, because the separation is wanted.
You can complain the software bugs, the quiet slow problem solution of some bugs, you don't have to like the interface, but don't complain the concept. if you don't like it, you don't have to buy it.
Giraffe: Did anyone had a similar experience and potentially knows a cure? I fear I have to let the battery of the tablet run flat in order to reset the thing. Giraffe
Hello,
Thanks to Mbolo01's advice , I made a total factory reset of the soundheart and a paperclip reset of the jukebox.
Before that, I deleted my Deezer account on the Moment and disconnected it in Beomusic.
During the configuration process, I did not input Deezer credentials and added my NAS as source, together with Tune-in.
BTW, the connection to Beoportal took a very long time, almost 2 hours.
Then the inner ring was the only working, with music from the NAS, which was normal.
Yesterday evening, after a week of test, I added the Deezer source.
This morning, good surprise, everything is back to normal in the Moodwheel.
Hope it will stay like this.
YannChris:BTW, the connection to Beoportal took a very long time, almost 2 hours.
Very good news indeed! Bravo
Regarding the Beoportal phase of the reset, I'm "glad" to see that I'm not the only one to be impacted by this delay. This behavior started for me after the 2nd or 3rd software update, I reported this issue to Beodontcare who asked me to contact my reseller as usual ..... and I don't want to spend 2 hours with my reseller to demo the issue.I used a network analyzer to check what was happening in the backstage, I could see that Beoportal was perfectly reachable, that there was a dialog happening but after that the Moment was not doing anything particular on the network during this very long time, except scaring me the first time it happened. Maybe one day an update will clear the issue, who knows.
