My V1 (which is the only NL-product I have at home) shortly l'ighted up' in the screen once , when I started the app.
But only once!
I guess we will have to wait for more people to notice that it is online.

just "played" a little bit with the new BeoMusic App 2.0.
Whats better?
- the App is much snappier, nicer
- your own Playlists in Music (NAS/DLNA/i-Tunes) & Deezer are shown and finally you can start tracks from your playlist
- you will see the exact same Artist-Tiles like on your BS-Moment under Music/Artist - nice
- you can change the overall-volume in your Multiroom-Setup by tapping on group-button
- integration of TuneIn and Deezer is much improved, (maybe you will forget -how to use the TuneIn-App on your device ;-))
- search is improved
What is not fixed - yet? What could be better?
- if you rotate your iPad in the Landscape-Mode you will always see the your Multiroom/NL/ML-Devices, there is no "now playing"-landscape-mode anymore
(maybe I am just to tired to find it). Now you have to use always the portrait-view/mode
In the previous version I could easily switch between portrait and landscape view, if I want to have a nice view on the floating Album-Covers of the recent track.
- the order of playlists is still wrong (track 10, track 09, track 08....) - although the order in (Music/Artist/Album is perfect if you choose a album with only one CD/Volume - but If you have more than 1 CD in a Album and you have it sorted like: Artist/Album/CD1 ... CD2 , the App will show the tracks in this order: Track1 (from CD2), Track1 (from CD1), Track2 (from CD2), Track2 (from CD1)... - even if the Twonky-Interface is showing the whole Album in a perfect order.
- I still miss a shuffle-button. If I want to have the songs in the playlists shuffled I still have to double-tap on the Playlist-Cover on the Jukebox of the BS-Moment
- I wish, there would be a Genre-button in Music as in the iOS Library
- the integrated Guide in the App needs a fix. On the first start of the app the guide explains almost everything - but if you need a reminder and tap again on guide - "he" will explain to you just 2 functions.
- unfortunately - only real ML/NL products are shown in the BeoMusic-App. It would be great if B&O would integrate the BeoPlay A8 or the Playmaker too, if they are placed in the same network. If B&O would do this, they could close the gap to other competitors, like Sonos.
Summary:
Most annoying improvement is the now missing Landscape-View. A small button in a corner to call-on the multiroom-page while keeping the Landscape-Mode would be a better / more practical solution. It won´t bother you, if you use the App on your Phone only.
This new BeoMusic-App 2.0 is really promising and a big step forward. The overall-performance is now much better. Thank you B&O

Its to early here for me to try (everybody's sleeping). It is very promising that you finally can use your own Music playlists. Thank you for the very well done review.

I have been advocating for something like that for a while now.
But that would mean a hardware upgrade for the products.
Makes little sense with the Playmaker, though (maybe not?) - but a BeoPlay A8 2nd Gen would be nice, and why not a 2nd Gen of the BeoLit12 :-)

i forgot to mention, that the new BeoMusic App 2.0 is showing the album covers now in full resolution, non-blurred and ..... YEAH in colour.
I didn't recognized it in the first place - thats proof that men are getting used to almost everything ;-)

I have a V1 in a stand-alone configuration connected to a NAS. The new Beoplayer App does not see the V1. Is this correct behaviour?
One could also say:
you need more than one NL product to build a multiroom setup.

came home from 2 week holiday and found my moment not working. Tablet battery empty while connected to the socket. NAS server down. Speakers not working. Reconnected everything and moment works now but the tablet battery doesn't seem to charge. How can I see whether it's charging? The little battery sign in the right bottom corner of the tablet is almost empty and flickers sometimes. Anyone any ideas?

Dear JoostdenEngelsman,
Check the charging-progress by removing the back plate on the BS Moment to enter the setup-menu. Tap first on "General", then on "Power" and you should see your "Battery capacity". If the battery capacity won´t change, please try a Pin-reset (about 15 seconds) on the Jukebox until the device goes dark. Place it again on the Soundheart.This should do the trick.
Bought a Moment about two months ago. To anyone who might be considering one, a tip, don't bother and put your money towards something that is properly developed and at least does what it is advertised as doing. Total, total garbage, THE WORST PIECE OF ELECTRONICS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. in their wisdom B&O updated the app, I now can't use my iPad to search for music, as it only shows half a keyboard on my iPad. Ok, I'll do a full title search using the tablet on the Moment, oh they've fucked that up as well, as it searches after inputting the first letter. Just horrible, horrible, horrible. B&O you should be ashamed. Never will I buy anything that has the B&O name on again, lesson learnt.

Some buyers are having massive problems with the Moment, and always at first they blame this music system. However, most of the occurring problems are mostly due to a not stable network, either fixed or a wired one. Being not serious about tagging their audio files, a not good functioning DLNA server, a non stable internet provider, etc...
I'm one of the first users of the Moment and looking back to my own problems I had (an overenthusiastic first installation), I can definitely not blame this music system. All of my problems were due to third party suppliers as Twonky, Yosemite, badly tagged music files...
My Moment is running faultless, as is the Beomusic app. It does what it was created for, not more or less. Just correctly...
Good for you, but to me the app and the "music system" are as one, a good app would generally create a good system, and vice versa. When I can't do something basic like search for music on app or "music system" that to me is pretty shite!

In all fairness, you have to remember that this is a sub-standard old tablet with poor software selling for £1800. Even the B&O report calls it a 'high margin' product. That's if they can sell it. It's a £299 system for £1800. Most people realise this. But of course, the silly people will hear nothing of it It's a true disgrace. I simply won't defend 'the thing'.

No need to list things up. You will find a lot of good info in this thread on how it worked best for users of the Moment. I do my tagging of files with Yate and are using Twonky 8.0.3, who seems to be running more stable on the new Yosemite than the proposed 7.2.7 version from B&O.

I do not know all the details, but v1.3 is said to solve more than 40 reported issues - including:

A very welcome update. The child is growing up very fast now, at B&O they are really doing their best.
Patternplay isn't working any more on my Moment. Instead it only starts playing the latest song I was playing the night before, when I'm pressing the middle button on the wood side of the moment. Does anybody has the same issue?

Hi,
I know it sounds like a famous sitcom (Have you tried to switch it off and on again?). I experienced that the most recent issues I faced, went away after I did a Pin-Reset on the Soundheart and the Jukebox as well - about 15 seconds on each Device. Place the Jukebox on the Soundheart again, after! the Soundheart LED's are constantly green and white. Sadly this helps in the most cases - it is not satisfying - but until there are no bugfixes on the horizon....
... and it will not harm your existing database.
