I've been searching around a bit for the answer and came upon this old thread: http://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/18804.aspx
But the linked guide within is no longer available.
Pull off the black plastic back of tweeter (carefull so you not do any marks) then you see the screws after that just lift off the speaker/lens unit complete, then this done just lift off cover.

Ah okay, so thats how it's done. Are there any other warnings before I get to it?
If I remember from when I put mine together it takes a really weird sized allen wrench (hex tool) to take the tweeter screws out, something like a 2.5 mm. Strange size.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Ok that was extremely easy. I just gained even more respect for B&O's engineering and design.
You were right that it was a 2.5mm hex thingie. That and a pointy plastic thing to squeeze the top cover off was all that was needed.
The speaker looks very badass naked. That small tweeter unit is very heavy.
Some pictures from the procedure
Funny, you are doing the opposite to what I wish to do! I have had white for 5 years now and I want black instead so I don't have to worry about scuffing them. Where are you located?

Denmark. I'm not selling the black ones though. I expect to switch around every now and then.
