It doesn't stay green it fades away after a few seconds, When i had my beolab17s they did this also.

Wow that's weird, I've heard both the lab 9s and the 20s and i can assure you the 20s are amazing. Before i brought my 17s i demoed the 20s and the clarity depth and bass weight really impressed.
I really think the dealer had something set up wrong. However, I emailed them and inquired about the possibility that things were not set up correctly, possibly the 20s were not even on. They have not emailed me back so I am guessing they were connected properly and on but for some reason did not sound good. (or dealer does not want to admit their mistake LOL)

With a wired connection, the green led comes on for a few second every time your turn on the speakers, then it dims after a few seconds.
I am not sure with a wireless connection, but I believe it is just the same.
So.... the dealer arranged you with a demo where the speakers sounded like crap, and are uninterested in finding out why that would be?
Are they possibly trying to sell you something else instead?

If it's the one without the glowing bang-olufsen logo then it starts with the green light then dims to off.
Slightly off-topic, but here is a pretty detailed - and very positive! - review of Beolab 20. Be advised that it is in Danish though!

Really enjoyed reading that review.
Looks like a great review to read, if only I read Danish.

A lot of my fellow-danes rely on Google Translate, if they want to read reviews in english.
Just you try that out!
....even if the 'trans-englished' text may be a bit hard to follow.

I think a lot of people rely on Google Translate. I was really impressed with the review and will definitely visit a dealer to listen to the Beolab 20s. I have been concerned about Bang & Olufsen continuing to stay in business but I think I will throw caution to the wind. I think I may still have the Beovirus.
I wonder if the illuminated logo is the only change to the speaker since the introduction or if other "enhancements" have been made as well?
