My Moment updated its software today.
As far as I can tell there is now a numerical volume indicator that appears in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, and you can now move the white dot on the moodwheel around the coloured spectrum by holding your finger on it.
Does anyone have an more information as to what features are either fixed or new?

Probably just a minor update.
The 'expected update' is scheduled to week 20 - after all that is know 'till now.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
I have now updated my Moment, but no numeric on my screen.. I no information on what the update includes..
hi for me not changement ?
By the way - there was an update of the V1 today too.
But just minor changes there also.
Millemissen: But just minor changes there also.
Major improvements, not just minor?
Which improvements, please!
I also noted the white dot that you now can move around the mood wheel and simultaneously see the artist name. That is good.
The bug I had with bluetooth has been fixed. I was unable to play anything from a paired device. On the device it looked as if the song played, but Moment was silent. After a while I could not find Moment as a bluetooth device on my iPhone at all. Now everything work as it should.

Thank you.. So that's why..
it's a pitty it's not working on both, when my BV turns into picturemute after a short time it's all as before..
but then it's something to look forward to in future updates 😃
I am surprised, my Beosound Moment shows a "Software Update".
Does somebody knows what the new Software Update is for?
I thought the Beosound Moment is EOL and no more Software Updates are issued.
I asked B&O Support, what are the changes behind the Software update for the Beosound Moment.
The answer was: "The changes from the previous version to this version are mainly bug-fixes, especially in the context of TuneIn."
I did not experience any TuneIn problems with my current ("old") version. Did anybody else?Is a new update available fixing all the mentioned new problems (see https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/36507.aspx?PageIndex=2) due to update 2.2.2.3900 - 2.2.29827?
This has been horrible. BOTH of my BeoSound Moments have been rendered unusable by the recent update. Even though they are connected wired to the network, they both start getting drop-outs -- both with the DLNA server and Deezer -- until the connection is completely lost.
How’s that possible then? My BSM works flawless, wired with Deezer HiFi. No dropouts.
With both BSM having troubles, you would think of a network related problem.
The problems started happening exactly after the update. The coincidence here is too strong. Also, others have been having the very same problems. I have no problem with my other B&O devices -- such as the BeoSound 1, BeoPlay A6, M5, and 35.
Hi Jeff,
the same with my Moment - thats total annoying as this problem makes the Moment not longer usable (again).
Hope, that there will be a bug fixing bug fix released soon.
Hi,
I am having the same problem with both my Moments stuttering with playback in Deezer and DLNA, have reported the bug as well.
Hope they fix this soon.
On the plus side been using my Beosound 5 more and forgot how much I like MOTS!
I've had both of my Moments submit their logs and encourage others to do the same and provide beocare with the log ID. They need to know that this problem is widespread. They should at least roll back the software until they get this fixed.

Sadly, it seems that our camp chooses us.
To shed some light on this: it seems that the problem is with Moments in an integrated setup where the Moment uses the speakers of the TV -- both NL TVs and TVs using an NL/ML converter. The sound starts stuttering and then completely cuts out. However, the music from the Moment will continue to play via multi-room on my BeoSound 35 in another room.

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !
The "old" version running well is: 2.2.23900 - 2.2.22636.26265250 (of March 2018)
The "new" version with the many problem is: 2.2.2.3900 - 2.2.29827.253289881 (of May 2019)
It does not look like, that B&O has any interests in their customers. Why should they? That only costs additional money. And perhaps somebody with a Beosound Moment is so stupid to buy a new B&O equipment. That is the only way the can make money.
seethroughyou:Does anyone know why the Moment is stuck at harvesting at 10% after a few days? I only have approximately 500Gb music not Terabytes. How do you put the Moment into standby please? Powering down the unit using the power button at the rear, means a very long startup/wakeup time?

Sometimes the display does not update property. Try replacing the aluminum back panel and then removing it again to see if the display gets refreshed.
Holding your finger on the middle area inside of the wheel puts the Moment into standby, and you'll see a message that it's going into standby.
seethroughyou:Thanks BeoJeff, I’ve got the Moment linked to the BL90 using WISA and powerlink.
I’ve got the Moment linked to the BL90 using WISA and powerlink.
May I ask, what you mean by: ‘using WISA and powerlink’?
’
Ok - thanks for clarifying.
seethroughyou:Wireless powerlink and standard wired powerlink in case the first method is unreliable. Both connected to BL90. Redundancy. Not using both simultaneously. If wireless fails, I can use the wired powerlink.
I'm curious if you have the stuttering and dropouts if you're using speakers connected via power link.
Yesterday, Lyle at B&O advised me that a software rollback has been prepared. It just hasn't been made available yet.
Update:
It seems that the software rollback is now ready. I finally received an email today from BeoCare asking for the serial numbers of my two Moments in order to get the software rollback. Anyone suffering these problems should contact BeoCare with their serial number to be included in the rollback.
I'll report back once I get the rollback.
