I have a Beocenter 1 in the bedroom ( its the same as the Beovision 1 but with DVD built in and FM Radio)

when I press Radio on the Beo4 remote and Menu, nothing comes on the TV screen, my manual tells me that the Radio screen should appear on the BC1 when I do this, but I get nothing, I have plugged the FM Radio aerial into the back of the TV, I have made sure it is in the right FM Antenna socket on the BC1

I am pretty sure we had Radio working on it before in our old house, but that was about 7 years ago.

Have read all the manuals that came with the BC1 3 times tonight, so I hope someone may point me in the right direction for a fix

thanks

Perhaps it believes it is linked to another radio-system that it no longer is connected to? In that case perhaps it looks on masterlink instead of its built in one?

You can change the A. OPT to the right setting with your beo4 but I am not sure which mode it should be in.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

that is a good point, it was linked to my Ouverture via Masterlink originally, super stuff, thanks for the quick reply Michael, will try it out and report back.

I went into the Radio Menu on the Beocenter 1

Radio Setup /  Options  /  Beolink  /  Linked Radio  =  YES

so I changed it to NO, and it made no difference, so I know that setting (when set to YES)  is really for playing RADIO to a linked room over Masterlink to perhaps an LCS 9000 or 3500 speaker in another room.

Then I played with the Beo4 remote, set A.OPT to 2 and now playing RADIO fine, many thanks for pointing me in that direction.
