Anybody knows how to proceed to get a Khimo account to use the newly added remote access feature of MLGW/BLGW?

At the moment Khimo is invitation only. I filled the form but never got a reply from them.

Hi there

Apparently a remote access account is only available to installers.

The home owner can also ask to get invitation for an account, but I must admit that it's not quite clear.

It would be nice if BO communicates about this new feature, especially since it was highlighted after the last App update.

Can anyone confirm that the the BeoLink remote access is only for BLGW and not for MLGW?

I have problems with the remote access. I use a khimo account to enter with the beolink app the blgw.

Sometimes no icons of the room

No access to the custom stings

No access the the nest thermostat (you can see only the home/away button)

If you want to control something, the app is crashing

Newest app, ios an blgwv1.3.0.

Local over the wifi an remote access via port forwarding - everything worked fine!

Getting an account through Khimo is very confusing. You must first request an account from the BLGW setup screen as  an "installer." Then, you must go to the Khimo site as an "installer" to then invite YOURSELF to get an account as a homeowner. Note that the account indicates that it is only free for a 30 day trial. After that, you must pay $120 USD a year. B&O really should be clear about that when they are promoting the IFTTT feature.

Indeed, rather confusiong. Once you have requested an account from MLGW/BLGW do you need to get some information/confirmation before going on the Khimo site to invite yourself?

I have requested several times an installer account through the App, but have never received anything from Khimo.

hi! you must use the khimo link in the blgw software!

but with khimo remote access, at home wifi everything works with the beolink app like normal. but outside the wifi and via the kimo account the beolink app crashed if i press a button in the app. (tv for example) also i can see sometimes no roomicons. i can not see the temperature buttons of the nest thermostat outside the wifi. (only the home/away button), sometime there is the complete scene button missing.

now i use port forwarding and save money. not so save but it works well.

What you're saying is that by port forwarding you can reach the same result as with Khimo remote access?

Coul you please elaborate a bit on how you proceed? Thanks.

port forwarding ist not that save as the khimo solution. (an no ifttt!)

you need a fix external ip. (and a strong password!)

forward port to the ip of the blgw:

9100

23 (telnet)

9000 (blgw protocol)

80 (web panel)
