I'm having no luck connecting my MacBook Pro to my BV 8 40.

I connect the HDMI cable to socket B.

Using AV3 (the only connection offering PC) I select socket B and save.

And absolutely nothing.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks for any help.

Seems right from memory ... I will snap shot my configuration for you once I get home in a couple of hours

Have you tried another HDMI cable?  I've had faulty ones and a new one has worked fine.

Dave.

Hello Dave

Thanks for replying.

Yes, I've just tried another cable that I know for certain works but still nothing.

The BV8 probably expects an input on the VGA port, when you use AV3.

Did you confirm that the AV3 port should use the HDMI as the connection type?

I think MM that you can see by my picture that AV3 is wiring with HDMI ON and VGA OFF

Hopefully Piers has his VGA off ?

I wonder if there is a BV8-40 software level issue ...
