Hello all
I want to create a Macro to turn the moment up with a wheel spin on the essence.
When i capture the commands into the gateway i have the below
Which is the one for volume to step up continually until i stop spinning the wheel
Eclipse 65V1-32Beosound M5Essence MK2BLI
ok this command
Home/Music Room/AV renderer/BeoSound Moment 25012481/Light?Action=Continue&Command=STEP_UP
causes a single step up in volume until i release and start again
Seanie_230:Hi can anyone help with this I cannot get volume working apart from single steps with each twist. I know it's the piece for multiple volume steps up. Cheers all BLGW - Rekindling the love of ML
This is not directly an answer to your specific goal, but it's the answer that I got from Henrik, the creator of the MLGW/BLGW when I asked him about creating macros to control volume with continuous button presses using Lutron RadioRa 2 keypads. Henrik pointed out a very good point cautioning of the danger of creating macros for continuous volume increase in that there is a possibility that the "button release" macro might not get detected for whatever reason. In such a scenario, the volume increase could go out of control!
Here is the solution Henrik provided for me:
"Keeping the above in mind you could potentially implement it using the Scheduler in the old MLGW
Macro 1Lutron press = Vol+ and start SchedulerA (a continuous scheduler)Macro 2SchedulerA = Vol+Macro 3 Lutron release = Stop SchedulerA "

mjmedlo:I have not This is unfortunately a hard solve.
I'm curious how how others have set this up the work best possible way?
4 separate macros with Vol up + Vol down + Vol up-repeat + vol down-repeat?
Do you tick [Match CONTINUE..] in repeat-macro?
Any other tricks?
Chris Hassell:Has anyone come up with anything for this yet? I might have a play this weekend as might be more possible with the more complex LUA coding available.
