hi.. yep im a newbie and i would appreciate some help please.
i have recently aqquired 2 sets of beovox 100 speakers. upon closer inspection the outside edge of the drivers has dissintegrated so im wondering if i can still buy replacement drivers ? and if not is it possible for someone to repair them ?
thanks
Two affirmatives for you! You can still get the drivers or you can get new rubber rings for the speakers. Either do it yourself - i am sure you will get some helpful hints on here, or buy the new units - your dealer can get these I believe.

And there is a third option (depending on where you live) - to find someone who can change the rubber/foam rings for you. Here in Denmark there are several companies/persons that renew speaker sourrounds. And I know there are some in other countries too.
There are plenty of repair kits on ebay available, and it is not too difficult a job to refoam!
However, there are a number of methods which have been discussed a number of times on this site, its best having a look at some other threads to find out which one is best for you.

It's not too difficult. But some people manage to screw up the speakers badly anyway...
So - if you don't know what you're doing, then 'don't try this at home, kids'...
