Hi and welcome to beoworld.

So we can be clear on what you are trying to achieve, can you advise whether you also have other speakers directly connected to the ouverture or if you are trying to utilise the beolab 3500 as your only speaker?

Kind regards,

Martin.

Check:

1- press and hold stdby in the BL3500 room (linkroom). Now press RADIO - does Ouverture and BL3500 start up in RADIO mode?

2- if not, set the ouverture to A.OPT 1, BL3500 set to L.OPT 5. Try again 1...(?)

3- if this doesn`t help, checl ML cable (you have the clock? And BL3500 responds to volume commands?

4- next disconnect both units from the mains, wait a few minutes, reconnect them - first BL3500, 2nd Ouverture.

Hope this helps

So your Ouverture is set to A.OPT 1 ?

When you change the volume level, BL3500 should display the level like 22 - 24....and it shouldn`t show CD - RADIO....

Are you sure the ML board is still present in your audiosystem?

Again: when both units are activated and you press/hold stdby, will the whole system go to standby mode?

It did work before or is it a new set-up?

Was the BL3500 used before as ML or as MCL product?

Isn't the BL3500/LCS9000 set to MCL instead of ML?

Which does not mean that a ML board is in the Ouverture...

olanilsson99:

3. Yes, both system goes down.

This tells us a working ML board is present...

I`d check the audio wiring. ML uses a balanced signal, which requires three wires per channel.

You will find wiring diagram on beotech site.
