Is it possibile to change the panel on both of this Beovisions?

As i know are these Panasonic Panels.

Would ist be possibile to put in newer ones with full HD?

Instead of the Beosystem2 a raspberry pi or an Apple Tv could do the work....

I have These two tvs as stand alone in my office and the kids room.

Maybe someone knows how to handle with this beautifull TVs.

Kind regards, Newbie

Think it would be a lot of work regarding the bv5 ie hdmi sockets would need to be in place etc

Would be great if it "could" be doneSmile

I think it would be easiest to strip out the panel and electronics of the BV5 and just use the case to house a new 42inch TV, with a cinema sound system in the base. Connect up with Lintronics to keep the Beo4.

Almost everything is possible. Just a matter of how much effort you want to put into it. :-)

You could even try to hook up a new panel on the existing BV5 chassis using VGA and UART commands.

Of course the easiest solution would be to rip everything out and just "hang" a new panel in there without any further integration...
