Hi

I have an apple tv1 connected to my avant as v.aux and controlled as apple remote through the stbc. It works fine but when i press menu i dont get a list of commands like you do with sky. So to switch it off means oing to settings and the. Selecting standby.

Does anyone know if there is a quicker wa and a list of the commands available. Tried holding down play/paise and stop but that didnt work. Does it automatically power off like the sky box or do i have to do it manuallyneverytime?

Unfortunately B&O did not implemented the Apple commands very well. It does not switch off. Just leave it, the power consumption on standby is quite the same as in operation.

Another possibility is to use the remote learning function of the Apple TV to learn commands sent via the puc from another device puc. I did this and was able to get many more functions to be controlled with the Beo 4 via another puc than I could with the Apple puc.

Also, do not know if this is true of all Apple TV versions but my Apple TV has a setting in it that allows me to program it to turn off after a few minutes of non use.
