That's probably the only difference. I've received the same update as well. I noticed in the technical sound guide that a beovision v1/11/avant and bsys4 can control beolab 90 over powerlink (and wisa probably). Quite interesting I think, since I thought B&O gave up on the data link features of powerlink.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

The BSys4/the Avant need to know, that the BL90'ies are used in the setup anyway.

I haven't written the update to the BeoVision Technical Sound Guide yet - it's coming, but not within the next couple of weeks I expect...

If you look in the Speaker Groups menu, you'll see a new item called "Speaker Preset" - this automates the preset control of the BeoLab 90.

When you make a preset on the BL90, you assign it a number in the BL90 App. To get a particular Speaker Group on the BeoVision to select that preset, you enter the number in the Speaker Preset menu on the TV.

Cheers

My V1-32 has gotten the update too.

I could have the BL90'ies in our guest-room.

No excuses anymore ;-)))

Except that there would not be much room for the guests, then ;(((

Would have to run them in 'single guy-one chair-very narrow beam-mode'.

If you treat your guests with a pair of BL90s in their room and they then complain about lack of room, you are inviting the wrong guests! Big Smile

I'm sure you'd have an endless stream of volunteer guests from here who would not complain... In fact, can I be first to volunteer please Wink

Martin.

I'll have to call 'Struer', then - to send me a pair for testing in a small room :-)

Sorry, I must not know how to post a link correctly as the link I posted does not work. Perhaps moderators can remove from post? Editing no longer works on Apple products, which I believe has been mentioned here before. As a result, I con not remove the defective link.

Ah, I haven't had the chance to look yet but I will tonight. But I won't be able to try the presets so perhaps you could send me a pre-production pair of BeoLab 90 for me to test Wink.

I have a new update tonight, waiting for you to install it first.

Doesn't say anything about the changes.

It's probably new software for all bsys4 enabled units.

I wonder when the unused ports will gain functionality. Avant and Bv11 has a few ports "for future use".

Even on a V1 there is an 'unused' control port.

I have often wondered, what that is for?

The control 1 and 2 are used for PUC.

When muting the tv, with the new firmware installed, the sound fades out. Nice smoothness but too slow. Like ten seconds slow.

(Update: disregard, it was a bug. After rebooting it, mute was back to normal. It started to act weird when I adjusted the volume)
