okay, but after 5 minutes or so "loading" everything works as normal. maybe only a update from spotify and the bs5 must reload all spotify playlist?
Same here - loading... For some minutes
after that everything worked as usual - next startup was normal with loaded playlists.

Unplugged mine last night and plugged back in. Did not try Spotify again until this morning. Playlists are working now. Also, I noticed last night on my V1 and today on the Beosound 5 an extra playlist that I did not make named Discover Weekly. Is that something new? Or have I just never noticed before?

I've had discover weekly for at least a couple of months, maybe longer, and I had either an email or an announcement in the android app about this when it launched (I can't remember which).
I really like the discover weekly playlist - it's a list of suggested tracks that changes once a week and is based on what you have been listening to in the past or what you have saved in My Music (I'm not sure which). I've found though that if you like a track in there you need to add it to another playlist (not just save it) as otherwise it will disappear the following week and you'll have forgotten what you 'discovered'.
