Hey folks. When I put my BS5 onto spotify and point to "playlists" it seems to freeze. It plays the current song but displays only the word "loading......." No controls then work and the only way to switch it off is at the mains. Everything else works fine, ripped CDs, radio and spotify other than on playlists. Anyone else had anything similar or got any ideas?

I also am experiencing Spotify playlist problems. Created a new playlist on my ipad. Then checked BS5. No playlists, just a message saying loading, and then locked up. Had to unplug from power.

Ok. Sounds like a software problem if it's not just me.. We should expect an update. I'll check in with my dealer and report back If he has any info. I will stick to non-spotify for the time being.

okay, but after 5 minutes or so "loading" everything works as normal. maybe only a update from spotify and the bs5 must reload all spotify playlist?

Same here - loading... For some minutes

after that everything worked as usual - next startup was normal with loaded playlists.

Unplugged mine last night and plugged back in. Did not try Spotify again until this morning. Playlists are working now. Also, I noticed last night on my V1 and today on the Beosound 5 an extra playlist that I did not make named Discover Weekly. Is that something new? Or have I just never noticed before?

I've had discover weekly for at least a couple of months, maybe longer, and I had either an email or an announcement in the android app about this when it launched (I can't remember which).

I really like the discover weekly playlist - it's a list of suggested tracks that changes once a week and is based on what you have been listening to in the past or what you have saved in My Music (I'm not sure which). I've found though that if you like a track in there you need to add it to another playlist (not just save it) as otherwise it will disappear the following week and you'll have forgotten what you 'discovered'.

Martin.

Ok a sneaky reboot and everything is fine. The discover weekly playlist is fabulous. Heard so many new things that I love. Very relevant picks. And it changes weekly (naturally).
