As far as I know: NO

The Avant is a simple one task at a time TV.

I would also guess no, but, in my mind this is actually something that may well be a desirable feature and surely not that difficult to achieve via an update. Video from one source with audio from another. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Suggest it to B&O via their contact page.

With picture-and-picture this should be possible. Unfortunately you will always hear the sound of the bigger picture.
So unless you would want to have only a very small picture area for your PS this probably won't be a solution.

With ML this was possible with the AV command. You could have the picture from a video source combined with the sound from an audio source.
If my memories are right this isn't implemented in neither the current TV's nor NL itself.

It is something I really miss.

In the old days I had a BV10 and Playmaker connected via a Powerlink switch to the BL9 speakers.

That allowed me to listen to music while watching for instance a sports game on TV.

When I upgraded to Avant and BL5 that switch did not work anymore and I lost this functionality.

Live is tough. Smile

This is not the only reason why I will stay with my BV 7. E.g. if my wife is watching TV on BV 7, I can listen to music in linkrooms from any audio device connected to BV 7, e.g. Spotify music via airplay to Apple TV. This is the real multiroom feature I won't miss and not possible with NL Beovision.

This should not really be a problem in a NL/multiroom setup, since most devices have several sources,

that can be shared/joined in to from all over the network.

However, if you have a specific source on your BV, that you want to use, it might be a problem.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Yes, you can play Spotify while playing Playstation on you r Beovision.

Start music from Spotify on your Playstation, and start playing.
