Apart from Masterlink, is there any other way of getting music from an iPhone into a Beolab 2000?

Hi Chris,

there's no way to get a direct Line-In or Bluetooth connection to the BeoLab2000.

Steve from Sounds Heavenly tried it one or two years ago.Maybe he knows more in the meantime.

Isn't it possible to use it with a Beolink 1611 converter as a standalone audio system? Would be much cheaper than the almando version...

Yes, you can use an Beolink 1611 converter, just need the Masterlink cable, and an AUX cable into the converter. Then selct A.AUX (I have had some issues with this, but I got mine to work with TV or V.TAPE)

The reason I ask is because there are two mint ones for sale just down the road. Am trying to help the indoctrination of my three young boys along, all of whom are steadily listening to more music.

Three A2's are a step too far this Xmas, considering all the other Chinese junk they are about to receive!

Leslie Nelwan suggested using a Beolink 1611 too. He actually had an iPad set up with a BL2000 on a video on his facebook page but the video doesn't seem to work now. Leslie hasn't posted on Beoworld for some time but his facebook page gives the impression that his B&O hobby is quite a big enterprise!

But then Chris needs two B&O (compatible) remotes or he has luck and those two Beolab2000s are the new one with a TV button on the panel (which is a bit unlogical for his kids Wink )
