I want to put 4 televisions in one room.

Can I control them all with one remote?

I realize I can use the blgw and pu them in option 0 but would like to use the beoremote1 for all 4 televisions discretely.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Providing all four televisions are current (eg BV11 or BV Avant) and therefore support the Beoremote One command set (as opposed to needing 'beo4' mode control), then I believe you can add up to eight televisions and eight audio products to the BR One product list and control each product individually.

Also, I guess a maximum of two of those could be older beovisions if you wanted, as you could put one in v.opt 1 or 2 and the other in option 4 (the remaining Beovisions would have to support native BR One control as above).

Kind Regards,

Martin.

I am aware of the beoremote one capabilities.

My question is.. How will the television know which one it is?

I always assumed that multiple tv naming was for different rooms?

Have you tried this?

I wonder if it's possible to have 4 televisions

All vb11 or bv1

With settings of

Beoremote 1

Beoremote 1 link

Beo4 AV

Beo4 link

Using the beoremote for all 4?

To make it simple, I recommend to just set each TV to a unique IR address

This is very simple to do with the BeoRemore One under settings, remember to be very close to the TV when sending the IR address programming command as the remote sends that out with a very short range strength

Now each TV will only respond to commands from the BeoRemote when the correct "Product Zone" is selected: BeoVision 1 = IR address 1 and BeoVision 2 = IR address 2 and so on ...... It's fairly easy to operate it this way and its also very quick to setup and rename each TV to something meaningful on the BeoRemote One

Happy Holidays

You can set the IR 'option' for each Beovision with the remote (different from the old ML options), so that each television then becomes 'BeoVision', 'BeoVision(2)', 'BeoVision(3)' and so on in turn (you can rename these on the BR One afterwards).

I haven't as I don't yet have either a BR One or a NL BeoVision (let alone more than one), but I've seen it used in B&O stores as it is how they tend to control the multiple televisions on display there.

Kind Regards,

Martin.

Oops, realised after I'd posted that BeoLinkapp had already provided a response with this info...

Great.

I will give this a shot. It's much easier with the remote.

I wonder if I could use the profile buttons to power on a specific TV? And put the BR1 in that TVs IR address?

3 buttons... The TVs. That would be almost too easy
