I am trying to find a diagram or instructions on how to replace the door/cd drive belt on the besound 2000 i have the speaker grill off and can see where the new belt goes just wondering if anyone had any info on the easiest way to replace it. I have an idea of how to do it but before i start thought i would see if i can get some good advice on this first.

Thank you for any help in advance

Having disengaged the lever that operates the clamper, I drive the rubber band through the mesh of the two plastic cog wheels!

Neither the rubber band or the plastic cogs are damaged.

I don't know if this is recommended by B&O 'cos it seems to be omitted from any service manual that I have read. It works for me.

No doubt someone will say it is bad practice but I am all ears for a better way that does not involve several hours of stripdown.

Regards Graham
