Essence IR dosn´t work

I have a Essence MKII with IR receiver. It worked fine and just suddently it dosn´t work anymore! The IR receiver greenlight is blinking then i turn the volume wheel on the beo5. It work with the buttons vol up and down on the IR reciever. Any suggestions?

Did you try a simple power on / power off with the essence? Unplug it from the mains for a minute, plug it in again. Does it show the same behaviour? Did you change any option programming of the Essence?

First of all, i would restart the Essence. If this is not working, i would try to reset the essence.

Very important: Did you try this?

as mentioned already, try this:

To use Beo4, you must set the audio system in A.OPT 1.

Set A.OPT 1 with Beo4…
Point the Beo4 remote control at the IR-receiver of the audio system.

• While holding down the • button, press LIST.
• Let go of both buttons.
• Press LIST repeatedly until OPTION? is shown in the Beo4 display and press GO.
• Press LIST repeatedly until A.OPT is shown in the Beo4 display and then press the number button 1.
