Hi,

planning to use a Beosystem 3 for home cinema reason in the living room where a BV10 alreay resides:

is it possibel to use the BV-Speaker as Center Speaker or do I have to install an additional speaker e.g. below to the TV ?

King Regards

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

did you search the (archived) forum on this subject?

http://archivedarchivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/35319.aspx

It might be easier to use some sort of HDMI matrix/switch.

Hi Ralf,

thanks for your suggestion, but my question is different to the linked one. I would like to use a beosystem 3 which controls my Beolabs and the beamer. I would like to use my BV10 as the primary display (beamer is the sencondary).

My question is: (how) can I use the build-in speaker of my BV10 as center in TV mode ?

The center in cinema mode will be another one.

Regards

Thomas

I understand.

I was just thinking about "why use a BS3 AND a BV in one room", if you might be able to use the processor inside the BV instead of a BS3...?

So you want to use the HDMI out of the BS3 and the HDMI in of the BV10?

No idea how this could work (option settings?)....

The only 'solution' I could think of, would be to connect all external speakers to the BSys3 and the HDMI-out (of the BSys3) - using a HDMI splitter - to the BV10 (HDMI-in/call it ? V.Mem) and your projector.

One of the devices would have to be in Option4, then - in order to control them in the same room.

N.B. The speaker of the BV10 would not be a 'real' center speaker, since it would work in stereo!

Kind off odd constellation, I must admit ;-)

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV
