paolomariano: benoit: How does it compare with the BeoLit15? The A1 is obviously not as power as the Beolit 15 although it still has enough power to fill a room with very high quality, detailed and full sound you would absolutely not expect from such a small speaker. I would have liked to take it to the limit but it was too late and I didn't want to disturb the neighborhood. The maximum volume felt too high to me, higher than the volume I usually listen to my Beolit 12 at. The more you listen to it and the more incredible is the sound coming from it. Bass is full, consistent, credible, mediums and voices are open, vibrant, absolutely pleasant to listen to and highs are crisp and detailed. And, even at the very low volumes everything is still perfectly balanced as if the sound came from a much larger speaker. Voices are warm, incredibly open and consistent. And also the finish is excellent, anodized aluminum is simply a pleasure to look at and touch. The weight of the A2 makes it you immediately feel the product is a solid one and the leather strap adds some style and makes it easy to hang it. I cannot tell you anything about the battery as I have not tested for long enough but it seems to be promising... Congratulations Beo! This is a very good business card!

Thank you! This seems to be a perfect device and I guess that due to it's shape the sound must be omnidirectional. I cannot wait to try it myself.
Would it be crazy to suggest an A1 with a DAB receiver built-in would be quite useful?

paolomariano:?... this is especially designed with teenagers in mind.
It revives the teenager in me, then ;-)

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Sneak peak :-)
BeoGreg:Sorry, but I don't understand this product. We already had the A2 for a small portable device. The french aka "kings of cheese" will call it the camembert box.

Some would see a likeness to a bicycle bell.
MM, A1 looks interesting. Have you used it? What kind of functionality is there with possibly an iPhone? Are there limitations?
We need more comments on how and where the A! could be used. I am not sure about the colors especially Dusty Rose. I think I would prefer black or maybe red. I would definitely buy a red A1. I could use it on my Christmas tree.
Chris Townsend:It's about 5 inches wide. Easy to hold in a hand without stretching. Connects very quickly via Bluetooth. Has a mic for calls!
So small and so powerful? It's half the size of the A2!

I'm curious to see when it will appear on the Beoplay website...
Does it have sensitive touch controls or 'push' buttons hidden under a 'soft skin'?

Duels:Well I'll be very interested to hear how it sounds compared to the A2.
paolomariano:Yes, it is omnidirectional
BeoNut since '75
Aussie Michael:Is that the Fibonacci pattern? It's handsome
elephant:I wonder how long until stereo support comes out BeoNut since '75
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Mark:how much does it weigh please ? we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
paolomariano:I think I have already seen it in the app. I'll check and let you know
