Dear All,

I'm the happy owner of a BeoSound Ouverture plus BeoLab 8000. But since two month, i've discover the incredibly quality of the Full Digital amp (FX Audio D802 in my case). I've read a lot about and i decide to try on my BeoVox CX 100. The result is simply amazing ! I rediscover the very high quality of this CX 100 ! The sound is incredibly clear and the stereo scene is in real 3D ! Voice and instruments are full of detail and clearly separated ... Amazing !

So i decide to try this amp with my BeoLab 8000. Even the install is a little bit complicated with the converter and son on, the result is as fantastic as i expected ! The only problem comes form the amp. Even it's off, it provide background noise to the BeoLab 8000 that they can't shut down ...

I don't want to come back to the Ouverture and the BeoLab 8000 integrated amp ... the difference is to big to come back ...

I think to buy a pair of BeoLab Penta that have a Speaker Link to be connected to a normal amp.
I'm correct ?

I've found one pair ... but one of them have a problem on the integrated amp. The amp shut down after few minutes.

Question : if i only need the Speaker Link function on this Penta, it's a problem to have one Penta with an amp problem ?

Thanks for your answer !

If you want to use a different amplifier you can simply remove the amplifier on the Pentas. They have regular speaker connections after that.

No. Renovera bolts under the fot, PUL amplifier of removing the speakerplugs in the gap when there is a 5-10cm gap.

Unscrew the long bolts, mount new bolts that are shorter approx 4cm long, mount fot, mount bolts. And you are done.

If you want detailed instruction, search the forum for details.
