beovision 8 screen dim as a pc monitor?

hi all

I have a beov 8-26 hooked up and working well enough as a pc monitor via hdmi - however it is pretty dark - even with the brightness up high

any advice gratefully received!

Without knowing exactly what you are hooking up to your BV8..

My bv8-26 is fine

Both HDMI to Mac and VGA to old Wintels
