Good day all,

I moved house recently and have just set up my Beosystem. Unfortunately my Beogram seem to be making a scraping/catching noise when I play an LP. Iv had a a little look inside but can't see anything obvious and the noise only occurs on play, ie I can't replicate by manually turning the table on power off.

Can anyone offer any suggestions,  I'd be very grateful.

Regards

Jonathan

Did you release all the transport screws fully?

Jeff

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

Lift of the platter, and there are 3 screws used to adjust the height of the platter. Front left and right, and middle rear. Remove the lid makes it easier to adjust them with a screwdriver.

I neglected to put them on to be honest, totally forgot, although I did carry and transport it independently from all other moving items, it was transported loose at all.
