And this is nice.....

You got to love the Belgians.

Being a Belgian myself, I have to admit that I do like La Trappe too! However, this is not a Belgian but a Dutch beer! Wink

 Well I never.

My apologies, and thank you for the correction. I still love the Belgians but now I love the Dutch too!

It's a jolly fine ale wherever it's from.

It is mine, indeed. Big Smile

But the small one does not belong to anyone. It contains the yeast. When you pour one of these beers, you need to separate the beer from the yeast. You can then drink the yeast as well, but if you drink everything together you risk to spoil the beer... Wink

You're taking it up a level here Paolo. This stuff is hard to find. Is this your wonderful bar-owner at his best?

Watching football. One for the first half and one for the second. Not had the Helles lager before. Very pleasant. Wild raven black IPA is an old friend.

"Surreal" Cool

Compared to Guinness (the sole dark I tasted), how is it?

It's smooth and velvety with bags of taste. A little bit chocolatey. 6%.

Guinness is a fine drink. But this is step up.

I perfectly agree. Smile

Try it either with roasted pork ribs and baked potatoes or with a butter cake or again with some good chocolate.
