Sweetwater Festive! A dark strong ale with with some bold earthy flavors. Leathery and herbal. This is another seasonal beer I look forward to every year. Big Smile

It's one of my favorites bars! "The Bridge Oyster Bar". But I may be bias, my girlfriend is the bartender... Wink

Best seafood in town. Fresh oysters shipped in 3 times a week, and rotating taps with a good mix of local and and other craft brews. Beer

Great idea !

Not that you do the work Smile but that we have some form of annual event Big Smile

There is NO WAY I could pull off what Paolo did, however can turn my mind to planning an event that could be part of an annual tradition.

So for example ... there is an annual food & wine festival in October two hours north of Melbourne (see photos below from previous years). Not exactly beer-inspiration however I certainly could identify supporting events / locations. This all presumes people would come to Australia (or Atlanta Laughing) for an exercise to tick off other bucket list items.

What do you think ?

Should try put together some agendas for different parts of the world and then vote as to where & who is the second event ?

Here’s the Heathcote Festival ...

Hi Elephant!! Smile

I really like your idea, although I have no idea if I can plan it right now.

But it is not a bad idea to start thinking about it, is it? Stick out tongue

Great winter beer. My usual rule of thumb for beer is anything that I can't see through. This especially applies in the colder months!!!

Brewdog are having a Stone Brewery tap take over at all their UK bars in December. I’ll search it out if they have it on.

So here's a thing,  Brewdog have announced an imperial stout infused with Mexican spiced hot chocolate.  I wonder where the idea for that came from?  I'll be heading down to their fab bar in Sheffield later.

Brewdog release prototypes now and again to trial new beers. This is a rather nice tangerine IPA.

Ah it’s a fine ale Paolo, 7.4% (I think), lots of rye with the malt gives it a smooth and quite dry taste. Beautiful stuff. The prototype range is for testing out new brews. This one should get on the permanent list without a doubt.

Brewdog is just a ten minute walk from home. And five minutes from work. What could possibly go wrong.......?

How strange!

I didn’t get to try the brewdog one last night as the launch day is today (on draft and in bottles). So I have to go out again this afternoon. It’s a tough life.

So I popped into Brewdog to try the Choco Libre on draft (Mexican spiced hot chocolate infused Imperial stout). 8.4 % and only released today.

Very good indeed. Loads of chocolate and a hint of chilli. Would be very interested to try The Stone Brewery version, so I am on a mission to track it down.
