I am considering to buy a turntable. I understand the logic why we cannot expect a new one from B&O and I am hesitant to buy a decade-old used one as I want to keep things hassel-free.
So, please don't treat this as a sign of not being loyalty to our well beloved brand, but wanted to poll some ideas of brands / models of turntables. I am planning to include the turntable into a NL setup by connecting it to a line-in of an EssenceMK2.
All thoughts appreciated!

Still waiting for the return of my MMC2 cartridge... and the connecting the BeoGram 4500 to my BV14 :-)
Another good choice is the Made in the UK Rega turntable. They can supply the entire setup including not only the turntable but also the tonearm, cartridge, and phono preamp. I have been very satisfied.
the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon USB has an inbuild PreAmp. I can't tell you the quality
