So, decided to break out the RX2 and swap cartridges with the TX2. Undid the 3 transit screws according to the directions on the archived forum here. Put lp on, pressed play and everything seems to work but there is a scrapping, rubbing sound from the platter area...thoughts?
Figured it out after doing a search here...imagine that :) Now will look and see if there is a manual on the site or answer to another question that I have before I post it :)
I'm having the same problem with my Rx2. What was the solution, or can you point me to the link on this sight where you found the fix?

Gadzooks!! Have totally forgotten what I did as that was over two years ago and I don't remember last week :( Well, if I could find the answer here then you should be able to...may have had something to do with levelling the platter....
