Hi,
I just wider in a new BV7-40 mk6, together with BL8000 front, BL4000 rear and BL2.
I noticed that with no matter the input sound (HDMI driven PS3 or SKY decoder or DTV) to be 2, 3 or 5 channels as a source, the TV switch all the speakers on and make a "Sound 5" setup, with the read ones switched on but having no sound.
Is that any possible to configure so that they switch on only if source is 5 channels, and switch off for stereo TV shows of stereo DivX files played on PS3?
Hi
in the sound menu you can modify and create any set of speaker. Select in the sound menu "listening presets".
I have 2 listening presets one for tv and one for surround sound. I use the beo4 remote with the its speaker function in order to selct 1, 2, 3 or 5 speakers wahtever the source.
4 beolab 5, beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2, 2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...
I recognize there are presets for Audio or Video, and are usually (as in my case) set to Speaker 2 for Audio only and Speaker 3 for Video. This is true and happens if I switch on the TV on "TV" source - that for me maps to a Sky decoder over HDMI. If I switch it on through DTV or V-MEM (Ps3), it selects Speaker 5.
Is Listening Presets an option for AST enabled setups only, as far as I can tell. And my setup is not AST enabled, having BL8000 as front (manual requires BL8002 for it).
