Hi
the Beolink can act bidirectional as well as a one way remote. Such as bidirectional for audio and one way for video/TV. This is done automatically by adding a new product to the list. So every unit, that accepts to the Beolink 1000 or Beo 4 can be controlled via 7000. I cannot tell, if the Beo one still uses the "old" code. Perhaps your remote needs some new capacitors?

Some BM4500s and BM5500s have two-way option installed but not all.
Perhaps you should try adding the components again to the BL7000's sources. While adding, it queries the device to see if it's a two-way and adjusts accordingly. Go PANEL > SETUP > SYSTEM > COMPNTS > RADIO.
Also try going very close to the Beomaster in case it's the reduced IR range problem on the BL7000 (caps).
