Has anyone ever tried using an external DAC directly plugged into the RCA plugs of a BV10.

I am considering linking my imac via V-link 192 into a BV10 but I was wondering wether it is worth using an external DAC or use that of the BV10. Is the tv compatible with 192/24 audio material?

The BV10 would be connected to BL9.

Thank you for your input.

As long as you feed a digital signal into your BV10, you will use the DAC of the BV10. Will very much doubt that you will hear any difference from an external DAC.Ll

Although there is quite a difference with other AV processors, I wonder how good the Beovision DAC is and if anyone tried comparing with an external one.

Do you know the chip they use? Is it 192/24 compatible?
