Hi all, Just a quick question, is it possible to change the voltage requirements on a USA 110v Beolink passive? I live in Australia so we use 240v and I've noticed theres a lot more USA spec'd beolink passives out there for sale. So I was going to buy one or more of these and change the voltage requirements. The beolink passive doesn't look like it has switchable power input, so would I need to replace some internals?

Beolab 2
Beovision 7-40
Beosound 9000
Beosound Ouverture
Beolit 12
There are two versions I am aware of which as you can see can be changed
Regards Keith....
The second version in the 163X type number units can also be changed as below
Thanks Keith, is this just a jumper setting within the case? or does it require modification?
It's a jumper change, but if I remember correctly the jumper are solder in..
Dear Keith,
my Beolink Passive is of type 1656. I opened the metal case today and could not find any jumpers. Does that mean that this particular Beolink Passive cannot be converted? Do you know of another method to convert this device from 220V to 110V?
Thank you
Hi Depe, I havent tried to change the voltage pins on mine yet, do you want to swap? I'm after a 240v beolink passive.
Are you still looking? I'm in Aus and I have two
