@David King

Great set up and looks very good in your room. I have 2x 18's and a 19 and it's an awesome combo. 4 x 18's and a 19 with an Avant must be just amazing especially for movies! Enjoy!

My small setup... Music is sent from an iPad. Not the best but I enjoy it.

love the table with the beautiful bowl and doll, simple but stunning whilst complementing the Play...

Hello everyone,

Like I said somewhere in a post a few weeks ago... I have been working on getting my BeoLab 5000s back in action. Here they are - paired up with their BeoMaster 4500 and BeoGram 4500CD once again.

What will complete this setup in the months to come is a Beovision... I'm currently dreaming of a BV5.

Looks great Evan! Yes - thumbs up

I too have been considering a Beovision 5. The prices here in the UK are coming down all the time and I think it might be the right time to go for one.

Thanks Ben! Smile

The best thing about the system is that it sounds better than it looks!! The speakers get endless compliments from my friends. I couldn't be happier.

The UK BV5 prices are what got me thinking about it... It does seem to be very affordable compared to most second hand BV's. There are hardly any for sale in the US (that I know of). I'm getting very close to just calling a few dealers to see if they can help me find any. Unfortunately the black one with motorized floor stand on Lifestyle AV's eBay store has been sold! That one was simply stunning - I had never seen one like it before! Surprise

I have another piece to add to this system... but that is probably a few months away as it needs a little work.

Great set up.  Can i ask how did the installers move the Avant back against the wall as in earlier photos they have the TV a few feet out from the wall?

I also have the same TV

Sounds like ,to them , it lacks mellow warmth of sound but that probably takes a bigger speaker like the Beolit 12.

In the middle of a room, it does.

Place it 12 inches from a corner, and you can treble the amount of bass.

Hiort, Thank you! Actually I knew exactly W here the speakers would Be placed before building the walls. That's why they are so clean.. The only problem we encountered was due to the fact that when I built the home I thought I would place four bl3s there. When B&O released the bl12 and I decided to get them, we initially let the wires turn around the speakers to reach the right place. This solution was aestetically ok, but over a certain volume (55 and up) the air moved by the coscone woofers made the wires vibrate and the noise coming from the back of the speakers was obviously something I needed to avoid. So My dealer came back to my house and he fixed the problem by moving the wires to the correct place. Now I can play music at 90 and they are just gorgeous!

I was looking at it for 10 minutes trying to figure out how it tricked my mind, and it was when I took a look at the one from the side i figured it out.

The angle of your shoot in the first picture alligns the bottom of the box that lies in the air with the angle of your floor.

paolomariano Yes I remember when you were looking for your particular sofa and you posted the view outside of your apartment. Amazing! I think though if I lived there i'd just live in a tent with a surf board as the views are so amazing :) Love your style in the apartment! Love your lighting too - Have you ever looked at Santa & Cole lighting? I love that brand from Barcelona!

Definitively take first the subwoofer BeoLab 19 in white !

The BeoSound Moment is not perfect. We have to wait for upgrades. Wink

The bl19 in white seems beautiful. Don't you think it may be overdimensioned for my living room which is just around 300 sqft?

I think a beolab19 in white sitting on the right hand side of your built in cabinet at an angle would not only look sculptural but a nice complement to your very sleek room.

That is a lovely set up paolo, those 12-2s look perfect in your room! If you are thinking about the next addition, I agree about the lab19 in white. I have one with my 18s and it really takes the experience to another level, for both music and movies. I also think it would look great in your room. My set up is in a room 5mx5m. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice and clean setup Paolomariano! Did you ever consider placing a white front on your Beovision?

I did. But I finally thought that a single color tv set would be much more elegant. Maybe I was wrong. Actually I could try one.. Thanks!!

Probably the most impressive setup that I have seen here. Well done paolomariano!

Have you thought about a BL11? Particularly with the "wallstand", this looks amazing and may nicely fit your design?

Hi Paolo thank you so much for the lights information - what beautiful lighting - it's an area that's a huge interest of mine. Lighting really makes a home! Hiort has some lovely lighting too next to his BV11.
